This is my commandment:
Love one another as I have loved you.(2)

Charity is kind, feels no envy.
Charity bears up to the end
Charity is meek, seeking not its own.
Charity has faith to the end.


Charity is mild, thinks no evil
Charity can hope to the end
Charity is just, finding joy in truth
Charity is patient to the end

Charity is never conceited
Charity brings joy to the end
Charity is never resentful
Charity makes peace to the end

I may speak in tongues, to be a propher
Understand every mystery
Even though my faith may move mountains With no love
I'm nothing at all

I may give away my possessions
Even give my body to be burnt.
If I have no love, I'm no better
For of all the greatest is love
